Should I connect to the 2.4GHz or 5Ghz network?

I'm not sure why my router has two networks and why I should connect to one or the other.

You should connect to the 5Ghz network. It's stronger and more stable. However, the 2.4GHz network has a longer range and so you might want to switch to that if you are further from the router.
